What to Expect:
- Staff-to-students ratio of 1:3
- 1:1 classes available for campers with learning challenges
- Attend one 90-minute class 2, 3 or 5 days a week
- Any Age
- Teaching plans designed by Vianney Academy for a-typical learners and students with learning challenges.
- Coverage of basic reading skills at beginner reading levels
- Your child’s tutor will complete a reading assessment during the first class to determine which level of our program your child should start in. You are welcome to complete the reading assessment yourself at home upon registration but this is not mandatory.
Our Tutors
Our tutors, aged 18-30, receive basic training in the Orton-Gillingham Approach which Vianney employs in all their education models. All tutors have previous tutoring or teaching experience and enjoy working with children. Their energetic and positive attitudes are sure to engage students in their lessons. All our program staff submit police checks for your child’s safety and your peace of mind.

Cost:
$25/per 90-minute class
Subsidies are available. Please fill out a request form. Completed forms can be sent to vianneysummercamp@gmail.com with the subject line “Online camp subsidy request: Your name“.
Program Hours
There is a limit of one 90-minute class per day. Students can register to attend 5, 3 or 2 days a week. There are three time slots available. Students must register for one of the three time slots. They will attend class at that time each day they are registered.
Sample schedule: Student A attends the 9:00 – 10:30 class five days a week. Student A cannot attend the 11:00 – 12:30 or the 2:00 – 3:30 class.
